Perks of Traveling with Mom

Since its Mother’s Day, we’d like to give a special thanks to our first travel buddy – our MOMS!

In glory of them, here’s a quick list of what we’re thankful for when traveling with them.

1. Travel Buddy: Growing up, our moms were our ultimate travel buddy!

They taught us how to: pack, organize a trip, getting thru the airport, read maps and survive a new city. Without them, we couldn’t have survived traveling as a child. Some of us even owe our wanderlusts from our moms.

2. Mary Poppins Bag: Sometimes we complain to them as to why they always have a big bag. But eventually we benefit from it!

Passport and ticket? Check!

Tissue & other toiletries? Check!

Medicine? Check!

Food?!? Check!!!

3. Got no money? : Let’s face it! We tend to take advantage of our moms as a walking wallet. Moms = $kaching$ So don’t forget to thank them or even better pay them back!

4. Shopping Buddy: Of course, with travelling comes shopping! A trip isn’t complete if mom didn’t shop. There’s always a trip to the shopping center either for your benefit or for the whole family back home. She never comes home empty handed!

5. Personal Photographer: In the age of selfies and travel OOTDs, moms come in handy for that. As young travellers, moms would always ask you to stand in front of a landmark for picture worthy remembrance. Nowadays we tell mom to take a photo of us and even pressure her to do it well! No blurry or slanted shots, ok?

So now we’ve reminded you a bit of how special it is to travel with mom, maybe next time you should invite her in your travels! Even if you’re an adult globe-trotter with your friends or lover, remember to take time off with her too. Definitely, there are more perks of travelling with mom. We’d love to list them all down but we’re too busy hanging out with our moms today!
